Presented by Dope Shows, Freeway will be performing the entire Philadelphia Freeway project, reimagined with a live band and special surprise celebrity guests. This is sure to be an unforgettable event, as Freeway takes the stage to commemorate two decades of success in the music industry.

Freedom Thinkers Academy’s mission is to raise awareness in music, health, and education through discussions, events, mentoring, CIY music workshops, and a workforce development program. It aims to disrupt the cycle of generational poverty and address the African American achievement gap by providing low-cost community-based workforce development programming for children and families, exploring STEAM-related career pathways and earning industry certifications.

HBCU College Excursion 2022 – 2023

Chester High is working hard to make sure all seniors have a plan for college or a career when they graduate. We’re excited to announce that we’re a sponsor of the annual overnight college tour! 25 juniors and 25 seniors will get the chance to check out some of the colleges they’re interested in. We’ll be sponsoring 5 of those students.

An HBCU college tour is a program put on by different companies and groups that lets students visit more than one historically black college or University in the same trip using one or more types of transportation, such as airline and bus travel.



What do HBCU college tours provide?

HBCU college tours give students, parents, teachers, and counselors a great chance to check out multiple college campuses in one go. These multi-campus tours give students a good idea of the history, culture, and traditions that have made these schools so special.
